When Galaxie 500 split up Dean put
Luna together. They are one of my favorite bands that are still making music. I
am also a huge Velvet Underground and Feelies fan. Thus Luna really hits the
spot.
At No.6 I was always trying to figure out ways to generate sales for us. When
Elektra released Penthouse, they only promoted one single. So there was this
incredible song, ÒSideshow By the SeashoreÓ that everyone except Elektra wanted
sent to radio. So I suggested we do an EP on No.6 with this song and some of the
outtakes and covers Luna had recorded while making Penthouse. So we did and it
sold lots of copies for us.
